Weve already posted an article about the Yankee 38, design #2094-C2 which is based on this design. Heres the rest of the story. In 1971 in the heat of one-tonner popularity, we developed a new one-tonner design simply on speculation. This speculative design, #2094 was sold as a one-off, Lightnin (and giving it the 2094-C1 design designation). She was built by Minneford Yacht Yard of City Island, New York and launched in 1971.
