Design 1904 Tartan 34


Of all of the Tartan designs, and many are posted on this blog, the Tartan 34 is one of the all time favorites. Built by the Douglass & McLeod Plastics Corporation, 525 boats were built between 1967 and 1978. She is a typical cruiser/racer from the period, with emphasis on family sailing.
